Metroselskabet's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Henrik Plougmann Olsen has resigned from his position as of 1 May 2022.
Metroselskabet's Board of Directors has decided to appoint Rebekka Nymark as acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from 1 May 2022 until a new CEO can take over from Henrik Plougmann Olsen. According to the Act on the Light Rail on Ring 3, this also means that Rebekka Nymark will take over as acting CEO of The Creater Copenhagen Light Rail from 1 May 2022.
‘On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Rebekka Nymark for taking on this important task. Rebekka has in-depth knowledge of the organisation and the business from her 12 years with The Company. We are convinced that Rebekka, together with management and employees, will continue the good operation of The Company during the period until the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is found and takes office,’ says Chairman of the Board Jørn Neergaard Larsen.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position is expected to be advertised during April 2022. In June, the Board of Directors plans to approve the appointment and announce the name of the new CEO. The start date depends on the person's notice period, but the board aims to minimise the period as much as possible.
