Metroselskabet is both a professional infrastructure owner and a responsible project developer. We regularly put projects out to bid in accordance with EU regulations for utility companies to support the city’s development and create lasting social value.
Through the planning, construction, and operation of some of Denmark’s largest infrastructure projects, we have built up extensive experience in executing complex megaprojects. Our organization was established and developed specifically for this purpose. We are equipped to handle large, technically demanding projects from concept to completion, both in existing neighborhoods and urban development areas, and we continue to make significant investments in existing systems.
We view our suppliers and partners as a vital part of this effort. That is why we are constantly working to develop the market, challenge established workflows, and find new ways to collaborate. Together with the industry, we seek to optimize processes, foster innovation, and deliver the best possible solutions for the benefit of both the project and society.

Current Tenders for M5
Tender: Copenhagen - New Metroline, M5 Civil Works South.
The contract includes the construction of, among other things, two bored tunnels totaling approximately 7 km, five underground stations, one above-ground station, five cross-passages, a ramp, and a terminal shaft.
Tender: Copenhagen - New Metroline, M5 Transportation System
The contract includes, among other things, a control and maintenance center, 14 metro trains, as well as a signaling system, platform doors, traction power, and other key systems.

- Use the name Metroselskabet, “Metroen,” our logo, or other trademarks
- Publish or share photos, visualizations, videos, or other visual material related to the project or the company
- Quote the company or comment publicly on the projects in press releases and other external communications
- Mention the project or the company in marketing materials, presentations, case studies, technical articles, or on social media.
- As a partner, please be aware that all subcontractors, consultants, and third parties must also comply with these guidelines.
