New staircase and elevator to track 1 of the Køge Bay Line

Construction of the new staircase and lift from the interchange area to Track 1 of the Køge Bugt line is well advanced, and throughout late summer we will continue working on the final parts of the project. In the coming period, the work will therefore mainly consist of minor finishing works, such as paving, handrails, railings, ceilings, lighting and other technical installations.

As a general rule, the work will be carried out during daytime hours, but safety considerations around the railway tracks may mean that parts of the work have to be carried out outside normal working hours. We will provide further information via SMS if this becomes relevant.

We expect to complete the work and open the staircase and lift during late summer 2026.
