Photography and filming in the Metro
Filming and photography in The Copenhagen Metro trains and stations must be done with consideration for the operation and the many passengers. Therefore, you must apply for a permit before you can film.
If you are a journalist/photographer and need a quick permit to film in the Metro, you can contact Metro Service: 70 23 25 29.

Future Operation and Maintenance of Copenhagen Metro Sent Out for Tender
In 2027, Metroselskabet's current contract with the operator for the operation and maintenance of the four metro lines M1-M4 in Copenhagen expires. The task has therefore been sent out for an EU tender to establish a new contract that will ensure continued high stability and quality in operations.

Metro stations get Danish pronunciation: No more Nuh-rah-broh and Fre-duh-rikz-berg
The English voice in the Metro previously announced the names of the metro stations in English, so Frederiksberg, for example, became Fre-duh-rikz-berg. At the request of tourists and international residents, these are now being changed to Danish.

A successful year for M4 in Sydhavn and Valby
