Good corporate governance

The Company is a publicly owned company that operates on commercial terms. This means that we work systematically with corporate governance and generally follow the Recommendations for Corporate Governance in Public Limited Companies. The recommendations are drawn up by the Committee on Corporate Governance, which is established under the Ministry of Business and Industry. The Committee establishes recommendations to support corporate governance and help ensure confidence in companies in Denmark.

The Company annually assesses whether the Company's internal policies, strategies and corporate documents otherwise fulfil the recommendations for good corporate governance.

Metroselskabet also actively applies the Danish State's Ownership Policy as part of its corporate governance. We perform an annual assessment of whether the Company's internal policies, strategies and corporate documents otherwise fulfil the recommendations in the Ownership Policy.

Metroselskabet has compiled the management documents that are assessed annually in relation to recommendations and requirements in the Company's corporate governance compendium.
