At its meeting on September 30, the Board of Directors approved a new communication strategy for Metroselskabet's work in the period 2016-2019. The strategy prepares for the significant phase shift as the tunnel work nears completion and work on the design of stations and station forecourts will take place towards the M3 line's opening in 2019. In this connection, communication will gradually be adapted to focus on neighbors and citizens as future customers of the Metro.

The Board also approved a strategy for the procurement of operation and maintenance of the Metro. The current operation and maintenance contract expires on December 31, 2018, and the tender must therefore be completed with a signed contract in early 2018.

The Board discussed the new allegations of organized crime at two metro construction sites that have been reported in the press. The accusations are raised in a police report filed by the trade union 3F. The board agreed that full support should be given to the police's further work.
