- Obsolescence Management: Drive technical obsolescence planning, evaluate re-engineering, and support suggested alternatives for long-term system functionality.
- Technical Procurement: Provide expertise for spare parts/services procurement, validating specifications and assessing alternatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze technical data (root cause, defect trends, RAM targets) to address issues impacting spares and system performance.
- Technical Collaboration: Key contact with Hitachi Rail, O&M Provider, and internal colleagues for reliability/spares optimization.
- Spare parts Baseline: Consolidate technical information from documentation for a robust M1-M4 spare parts baseline.
About You
You're an analytical, technically proficient engineer, passionate about complex system reliability. You enjoy using data to solve technical challenges in spares/supply chain, thus translating insights into operational strategies. You get involved when working with others.
