Closure of Irlandsvej
Preliminary investigations for the upcoming M5 metro line
As preparation for the upcoming M5 metro line, we are currently carrying out a number of preliminary investigations into the geological conditions and groundwater conditions in the areas where the future stations, shafts, and tunnels are expected to be located.
One of these investigations needs to be carried out on Irlandsvej, and unfortunately it will be necessary to close Irlandsvej to vehicular traffic for a period of approximately three weeks.
What does this mean for you?
Irlandsvej will be closed to vehicular traffic between no. 19 and no. 21. The road will close in the middle of week 44 (expected on 29 or 30 October) and remain closed for about three weeks. If the work can be completed sooner, we will naturally reopen the road as quickly as possible.
You will still be able to pass the work area on foot or by bicycle, and most of you will still be able to drive to your property. However, it will be necessary to carry out the work in a way that blocks the driveway to no. 19 and 21 â we apologise for this. Parking will be available on the closed section of Irlandsvej.
