Øresund platforms and pedestrian tunnel under the Øresund tracks

The new Øresund platforms and the pedestrian tunnel beneath the Øresund tracks are now open and are being used frequently. Due to snow and frost earlier this year, some minor finishing work will still take place at the station square by Følager during the spring. The work will be carried out during daytime hours.

New staircase and elevator to track 1 of the Køge Bay Line

Construction of a new staircase and elevator from the interchange area to Track 1 of the Køge Bay line will also continue throughout the spring. The staircase and elevator tower are now in place, so the work will mainly consist of paving, installation of the elevator, as well as a number of technical installations and minor finishing works.

The work will generally be carried out during daytime hours, but safety considerations around the railway tracks may require parts of the work to be done outside normal working hours. If that becomes necessary, we will inform you via SMS.

We expect to complete the work and open the staircase and elevator in late spring 2026.
