Senior OT Cybersecurity Advisor for the Copenhagen Metro

As an OT Cybersecurity Advisor at Metroselskabet, you will be a key player in ensuring that our metro operator complies with NIS2 and Metroselskabet’s internal cybersecurity requirements. At the same time, you will act as the technical link between the metro operator and Metroselskabet’s other cybersecurity stakeholders—from operations and maintenance to major maintenance projects.

About your future team

You will become part of the Cyber & Information Security (CIS) Team, where we work across the organization to ensure robust and future-proof security solutions. The department supports the project organization, IT operations, and the metro operator, and plays a special role in protecting the safety and control systems that form part of critical infrastructure.

We work closely with the maintenance team, the operator, and major projects such as 3xR and M5 to ensure that cybersecurity is considered from the outset and implemented effectively.

Responsibilities

As a Senior OT Cybersecurity Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring requirements definition and conducting technical cybersecurity reviews in major projects, including 3xR and M5
Creating an overview of the operator’s cybersecurity-related initiatives and projects
Contributing to strategies and action plans in collaboration with the operator and the CIS team
Participating in architectural and design discussions related to networks and access control in the OT environment
Supporting incident response and incident handling in cooperation with the operator and our SOC/MDR provider
Managing and quality-assuring change requests (OMCR), including technical assessments of security impact
Ensuring compliance with NIS2, IEC 62443, and internal policies
Conducting system and supplier assessments for OT components and projects
Coordinating technical security tests and audits with external partners
Following up on the operator’s cyber initiatives and ensuring correct implementation of measures
Acting as a technical sparring partner for relevant OT and infrastructure projects

Qualifications

We expect that you have:

A solid understanding of OT environments such as SCADA, PLCs, industrial protocols, and OT network infrastructure
The ability to translate security requirements into practical solutions
Experience with CBTC systems is an advantage, but not a requirement
Experience in OT cybersecurity and an understanding of process control systems
Experience with network security, segmentation, IDS/IPS, and hardening of industrial systems
Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIS2, ISO 27001, and preferably TS 50701
Experience from the energy, transport, or process industries is an advantage
The ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken

Independent and comfortable working across the organization
