The Role

Metroselskabet is responsible for the development, construction, and operation of the Copenhagen Metro. As we continue to expand our metro and light rail networks, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated SCADA Technician to join our engineering team.

In this role, you will be involved throughout the entire implementation process – from early design development and reviews to physical implementation, testing, commissioning, and full system integration. You will work across disciplines to ensure that SCADA/BMS solutions meet specifications and function seamlessly within the wider metro system.

Key Responsibilities.

Primary assignment to act as the key interface between Civil Works and Transportation Systems by:

  • reviews and validation of design documentation, interface specifications, and system architecture.
  • oversee and align the individual SCADA/BMS system design, its installation, and commissioning activities in collaboration with Contractors, Consultants, and internal team members.
  • support with risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Secondary, to participate in defining and developing technical and functional requirements for SCADA/BMS systems to be included in new tenders or changes to the systems in operation including the provision of technical input and support during procurement processes and subsequent evaluation of proposals and participation in negotiations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Industrial skilled Electrician with superstructure of education in Automation and Control Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 15 years relevant working experience hereof minimum 5 years with experience in SCADA/BMS systems large-scale projects.
  • Competence of industry SCADA platforms and industrial communication protocols to ensure aligned system integration between multiple plant systems within an infrastructure project or industrial factory / building plants (e.g., signaling, power, ventilation).
  • Familiarity with relevant standards DS/EN and RAMS methodology is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation, specifications, and drawings.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional project environment.
