Customer satisfaction

How satisfied are passengers with the Metro? Is the train clean? And is the service okay?

Customer satisfaction surveys in the Metro

Passengers' experiences in the Metro are very important to Metroselskabet. Therefore, Metro regularly has independent customer satisfaction surveys conducted by an external analysis company to help Metroselskabet continue to ensure high quality and satisfaction with the Metro among customers.

The surveys are conducted through personal interviews with randomly selected passengers on the lines, and Metroselskabet receives the reports every quarter. The reports reflect passengers' assessments of various aspects of the Metro and are an important element in Metro's continued efforts to make the Metro even better.

Customer satisfaction in 2024

Customer satisfaction has remained high since the opening of the new metro systems in 2019, 2020 and 2024. In 2024, customer satisfaction with the journey was 96 per cent, measured in areas such as station cleaning, timetable adherence, safety, service and staff appearance. Metroselskabet continues to work with the operator to improve passenger information.

Safety in the Metro

Safety and security are incorporated into the Metro's design and materials in many different ways.

The Metro is driverless and is controlled by a fully automatic control system that monitors operations, acts as an autopilot and intervenes if errors occur. The risk of human error is minimised due to this automatic control system.

To fireproof the Metro, trains and stations are built from materials that cannot burn and produce minimal and non-toxic smoke. Naturally, the Metro is also equipped with automatic fire alarms and fire extinguishers. Should an accident occur despite the Metro's many safety measures, there is a well-defined emergency response plan and full-scale drills are held regularly.

Metro staff are present in the Metro 24 hours a day. As a passenger, you should feel safe throughout your journey on the Metro.
