At its meeting on May 31, the Board of Directors discussed Metroselskabet's operations as a core business. This was part of the evaluation of the existing strategy and the preparation of a new strategy for the period 2018-2022. The discussions are part of a series of strategy discussions in the board, where the starting point is the increasing population development in the metropolitan area. This increase means, among other things, more passengers in public transport, and the Board is therefore continuously focusing on how to ensure the best possible customer experience in the future while Metroselskabet meets the opportunity for more passengers.

The board was also briefed on the status of the work to complete the new urban spaces at the M3 line's future stations. In several places in the city - in Vesterbro and Frederiksberg - the green metro fences are now being taken down, and work can begin on designing the station squares with paving, trees, etc.
