At the meeting, the board approved a plan for the overall marketing of the M3 line and the Nordhavn line as well as the main events planned to be held in connection with the opening. The activities will help attract customers as soon as possible after the opening of the new combined metro network.

At a future meeting, the Board of Directors will be presented with an overall plan for the organization of the opening events, including the neighboring events.

As assumed in the agreement signed in January, the progress of the AF works had reached 78% by the end of February. The agreement has thus had the desired effect on the progress of the AF works. The limited production in January, which directly affected the architectural work in the stations, also affected the completion of the necessary tests of the technical systems and thus the possibility of starting trial operation. The delay in the testing of the technical systems means that the risk of delaying the M3 line's completion remains significant.

"The closer we get to the opening date, the more difficult it becomes to make up for delays due to the limited time left to complete the M3 line. To actively contribute to reducing the risk of delays, Metroselskabet has therefore set up two task force groups to assist the contractors in coordinating and facilitating physical works and tests as well as providing the basis for the safety approval", says Jørn Neergaard Larsen, Chairman of the Board of Metroselskabet.

The Company expects to be able to announce an opening date for the M3 line when it has assessed whether the planned milestones at the end of March and April have been achieved. This will be subject to final safety approval.

The M3 line schedule is still based on the project being completed by the end of July, and the contractor CMT's deliveries and daily fines are tied to this.

Metroselskabet's Board of Directors continues to follow the work closely and reports regularly on progress and risks.

At the meeting, the board also approved Metroselskabet's annual report for 2018, which will then be presented to the owners at the annual partnership meeting.
