At its meeting on April 13, the Board of Directors approved the annual report for Metroselskabet I/S for 2015. According to the report, it was another year of record-high operational reliability, a passenger increase of more than one million passengers and new major milestones in the metro construction project. The annual report will now be presented to the owners at the Company's annual partnership meeting.

The Board also approved that Metroselskabet formally joins the UN Global Compact, which is a set of UN standardized guidelines for corporate social responsibility. This means that Metroselskabet must submit an annual report to the UN based on 10 overarching principles, including human rights, labor rights, environment and anti-corruption. Companies that have joined the Global Compact must be able to document how the ten principles have been implemented in the company.
